TRIBE is the group of Teens who helped develop how The Encounter looks, feels, functions and sounds. We are here because of their leadership and inspiration.
TRIBE is always looking for new participants. Please reach out during a Tuesday with your interest.
ABOUT US
A Community Rooted in helping and caring for one another...
We are a nondenominational intergenerational group of people who love Jesus. Our intention is to create a safe, welcoming space where others can come to know and love Him too. This just so happens to be at the Berwick Theater and Center for Community Arts.
Our gathering was developed with youth in mind but is open to all ages.
The message will be 5-7 minutes long with a lively question and answer period directly after. We will sing, we will eat, and most importantly we will learn about the love of Jesus.
The Encounter wants to connect you with our local churches, parishes and synagogues to help you discover the right religious family for you!

What we aren't...
The Encounter is not a traditional church. It is not affiliated with any denomination. We do not hold any religious dogma. We do not hold any religious celebrations or religious rites. We do not ask for money. We do not try to sell you anything. It is a place where everyone who comes to know Jesus has the space and authority to share their knowledge and learn from others. Most importantly, we are not boring! :)
Our purpose is for you to encounter Jesus and then find a local religious home to continue with your spiritual journey.
